Carbide Tipped cutters can be used with a fiberglass content of up to 30%.

Diamond Tipped cutters, are for fiberglass-reinforced profiles with a high glass fiber content (over 30-55%) or fiberglass inserts (rods or profile bars).

The selection of the carbide grade and cutting edge geometry is based on the task of the tool.  This ensures a tear- and breakout-free processing of the respective PVC/GFRP profiles. For GFRP materials, we additionally recommend our special PLT coating. This coating ensures a sharp cutting edge. Thus, there is a significant increase in tool life without any loss of quality.
